However, people are worried they are used in some areas such as dressing rooms, work places or hotels. Here is how to know if the mirror is two way or not at Wiki How to.

Well, a few weeks ago, I wrote about blooming of internet cafes in Yangon. Well, there are now many new internet cafes in Yangon, and it is easier for the users to use internet at cheaper price. However, the problme with all of them is that, as there are frequent electricity outbreaks, they have to use their own generators for most of the time. Some of the internet cafes cannot keep up with the fuel price so they have to close when the electricity is cut off. Today when I was using at one internet cafe, they said they were going to close the shop as the generator was very hot because it had been running non stop for nearly 6 hours. Another one near by was also closed. The one I am using now is also running with the generator. They said it is not very profitable so they had to raise the fee now.

The following is from Au, my beloved wife who lives in Nakhon Pathom.
If you want to visit a quiet charming town, why don't you come to Nakhon Pathom province. It is just a small town which is very near to Bangkok and takes only 50 minutes to arrive there.
I am the one who lives in Nakhon Pathom and proudly presents my hometown. If you are bored at the traffic in Bangkok, please think of Nakhon Pathom as your choice. There, you will see a lot of interesting places which relate to Thai history and plenty of delicious foods that can make your stomach full.
It is very easy to get there. You can take a bus No. 997, 83 from the Southern Bus Terminal , or if you like to travel by train, you can also take a train from any station in Bangkok. Above all, it is so convinient for you to drive a car. The road is very smooth.
Here is one of the most enchanting tourist attractions in Nakhon Pathom.
Phra Pathom Chedi, the largest pagoda in Thailand . Phra Pathom Chedi is the official provincial symbol of Nakhon Pathom. As soon as you arrive there, you will be able to feel peaceful in you mind. You can do a merit and pray at the Lord Buddha. Within the monastery compound, there are various interesting historical items, including the Phra Ruang Rodjanarith, an image of Buddha bestowing pardon, is enshrined in a vihara located to the North and in front of Phra Pathom Chedi. The visitors always visit this pagoda and pray at the Buddha image for their safety and wishes.
At night, start from 4 pm, there are so many food stalls on the left side of the pagoda. I can say all the food is nice and also cheap. One of the most famous shops is Sky-High ice cream. They sell Thai-style ice cream but the difference is the way the serve ice cream. I will show a photo next time.
This is all for now. Next time I will bring you to another beautiful place of Nakhon Pathom- Sanam Chan Palace.

A few more tips about a trip to Kanchanaburi. The bus to Kanchanaburi leaves every hour starting from 4 am until late at night from Southern Bus Terminal near Pinklao. You can take a bus there or more convemiently, by a taxi. Ask for Kanchanaburi ticket box to a guard as the terminal is a little confusing. You don't need to book a ticket in advanced as it is very easy to get a ticket. It takes about two hours to Kanchanaburi. When you get there, you can hire a pick up near the bus station. You should visit the Hell Fire Pass Museum, and the Tiger Temple where they keep tigers and you can take photos with the tigers. Don't worry. They won't bite you. And from there, take a train back to Kanchanaburi. The train actually goes back to Bangkok, but the trip from Kanchanaburi to Bangkok is really boring. So take off at Kanchanaburi after taking photos at the Bridge over river Kwai.
Oh, by the way, don't forget to visit the JEATH War Museum and Allied War Cemetry there too.

Well, it is really difficult to find the price of something online in Thailand. The vendors usually don't have online presence in Thailand. If they ever have a website, they are usually poorly designed and lack any online purchase function. But I recently found a website from Hardware House, a reputable Thai computer and accessories vendor. Although they don't sell things online, they have a list of their available products with price list. You can find many Hardware House vendor shops at Panthip Plaza in Bangkok.
Well, looks like another wikipedia, with user edited contents. Not really. This is actually a mock replica of famous online encyclopedia - wiki. All articles in this uncyclopedia are jokes. Although they are all false articles, these articles will surely make your dull day colorful.

Yesterday afternoon around 5.30 PM, I went to MBK, a famous shopping complex in Bangkok near Siam Square. To my surprise, the center was closed! I first noticed the linking bridges connecting the National Stadium BTS sky train station and the MBK center was deserted. Usually, it was packed with people. Then I found out that the center was closed. We thought something happened at the center but there was no police, no ambulance, no fire fighter. Just closed. Then we found out about the fire.
The fire started around noon at 7th floor in a Japanese restaurant. All the shoppers and vendors were safely evacuated and fire contained. Fortunately no one was injured.

Thailand will start enforcing new restrictions on liquids, aerosols and gels in hand carried luggage on all commercial flights departing from airports nationwide in the next few weeks, according to a report in Bangkok Post news paper. This is in accordance with the suggestions by the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), following the discovery of a terrorist plot in Britain last year. South Korea and Hong Kong have already implimented such restrictions, while Singapore will start restrictions on May 8. The limit is on all liquids, aerosols and gels in containers more than the maximum capacity of 100 ml. Even if the containers are not full, they will not be permitted to carry in a hand luggage. This include those bought from airport duty free shops, including alcohols and perfumes. Liquids in containers less than a maximum capacity of 100 ml will still be permitted to hand carry.

Do you know that you can get Myanmar visa on arrival at the Yangon International Airport? Well, not actually true visa on arrival, but you can apply online for Myanmar visa and get your visa on arrival at the airport. There are travel agencies who will assist you in your visa application process. However, bear in mind that it will take 14 working days to process your visa application online! So if you are not far away from Myanmar Embassy, you better get your visa at the embassy as it will take only two to three working days at the Myanmar Embassy. But for those living in a country without nearby Myanmar Embassy, it is an another option. If you want to find out more about it you can google it.

I think, of all the firefox extensions out there, for me Down Them All download manager is the most useful one. There is a little bug in firefox where it hangs for a couple of seconds while you started downloading a file. With this download manager, you can avoid this problem. Moreover, you can pool your downloads and then download afterwards. You can decide how many simultaneous downloads you want too. Very convenient for a download junky like me.

According to this New Scientist report, scientists at University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne in the UK had turned bone marrow stem cells into primitive sperm cells. They obtained bone marrow stem cells from four adult men who were about to undergo bone marrow transplantation and turned them in cells that are precursors of human sperm cells. So what does that mean? Scientist believe, although it is just the start, one day we might be able to turn them into functioning sperm cells, thus helping infertile couples having babies. They even think it might be possible for women to produce their own sperm cells, making it possible for lesbian couples to have children. However, the biggest obstacle is to turn these primitive sperm cells into real functioning cells, and that will take a long time to be successful.

Oh my God! Finally I think I found a reason to start smoking. According to this news report from New Scientist, drinking coffee and smoking cigarettes might protect an individual from getting Parkinson's disease, a disease of older people with loss of memory and coordination. A team of researchers did a study comparing the Parkinson's patients and their non Parkinson closed relatives on their habit on smoking and coffee drinking. They found that the patients are more likely to be non smokers and drink less coffee than their non-diseased siblings. So next time your mother or your girlfriend asks you to quit smoking, you have a reason to tell them why you should smoke.
But wait a minute, there are concrete evidences that smoking has a strong relation, a very strong one, with various kinds of diseases, including heart disease, peripheral vascular diseases and lung cancer. So you either have Parkinson or heart attack. It is your choice.

Yaw region, a region comprises of Gantgaw, Hteeling and Saw Townships, is a region traditionally renown for, or more correctly, notorious for witchcraft. Many Burmese believe that people in Yaw region are masters of witchcraft very well, and they are afraid of the Yaw people. However, I believe these are all false rumors, or rural myth.
The region is situated between the two mountain ranges – Chin Hills in the west and Ponetaung Hills in the east. Because of a lot of rivers and streams flowing in these regions, farms here are generally quite fertile and productive, and the people are quite well off.
The roads to this region are quite rough. Most are just dirt roads. You also have to pass the Pongtaung and Pongnya ranges on these dirt roads, making the trip quite dangerous.
You can take a bus from Mandalay to Gantgaw, the region's capital. The trip will take the whole day. On your way you will pass Bahin village where many fossils were found.
There are actually not much to see in Gantgaw. The town is quite small, but it is famous for Gantgaw longyi. There are one or two guest houses in Gantgaw. However, they are not very clean.
One thing about the language. They speak Burmese but a different dialect, so it is very difficult to understand what they are talking. Be patient, and kindly ask them to repeat.
Although traditionally famous for witchcraft, there is no trace of such kind in Yaw as far as I could see. And the people are very nice and friendly. You can ask for help anywhere in Yaw, either for lodging or for a meal. And there is no thief in Yaw reagion! You can left your door open and go out the whole day and nobody will steal anything from your home.

Do you know that some of the ring tones cannot be heard by some older people? Because older people have impaired hearing in the high frequency range, they cannot hear high frequency ring tones while teenagers have no difficulty hearing them. The frequency of the ring tone is said to be around 17 kilohertz.
A British security firm first created this high frequency sound and named it the Mosquito. The purpose of the Mosquito device is to produce sounds at a very high frequency, so as to make those teenagers who hang around in stores go away. The Mosquito sound was reinvented as a ring tone, and it eventually became popular among teenagers. They use it to communicate with each other during school classes. Because teachers cannot hear the ring tone, they can send SMS to each other during classes.

According to a BBC news report, police in an Indian State of Gujarat will be wearing sweet smelling uniforms soon. The state officials announced the plan to dress up the police officers with uniforms that smell sweet. They will have three choices of smell – rose, jasmine and citrus. It is part of a plan to make police officers more public friendly. The state officials believe that sweet smell will make the officers feel good and friendly. The uniforms will be made of a new kind of synthetic fabric that not only smell sweet but also grows in the dark. That will make police officers easy to find in the dark.
